Typhoon Frank hit the Western Visayas Region on June 21, 2008. Most provinces were in the state of calamity after the typhoon. The province of Iloilo was mostly affected with flood that reached the roofs of some houses. Many lives, houses, belongings, and source of incomes were taken. Electricity and water outage were experienced; Mud scattered all over that made the roads dusty even up to now.
More than a month has passed and the people has barely recovered. Water shortage is still being experienced and phobia can be seen among people whenever it rained. These photos I got from SM City Iloilo show how Frank affected the province:

Though the province of Capiz has not experienced flood like that of Iloilo, it was also declared in the state of calamity after the typhoon. No such floods but the strong wind has blown many trees, houses and roofs. This was the scene at the back of our house in Roxas City:
